High-resolution CT imaging of the breast would seem to be an affordable alternative to MRI with (likely) easier access for patients. I would anticipate rapid adoption by insurers based on cost savings and it would appear as though it is a more comfortable option for women compared to compression imaging. I can’t wait to see how this develops in the years to come.
